We are pleased to announce that we have received a DigiAwards in the category Best Use of Digital Media for Internal Communications.
The annual award issued by CorpComms Magazine honours outstanding digital projects in the area of internal communications. We convinced the jury with our entry about the Castrol Camera Challenge.
The project aimed at engaging the over 7,000 employees of Castrol across 44 countries through an innovative approach using user generated video to strengthen the corporate identity and the sense of community.
Given the distributed nature of the business, digital was the natural choice for such a campaign and we supported Castrol by facilitating the communication via a Yammer group, but also via Emails, digital screens, intranet area, environmental and posters.
Castrol’s target for the project was to achieve 2% engagement (the industry average), the results showed it reached over 10% engagement.
Our core thought was built on the idea of a globally connected network of talented individuals and user generated video felt like the natural way to bring it to life.
