Practising What We Preach...

It’s a new month, and following a very busy few weeks, Avvio’s bi-monthly award ceremony – Avvio Knights – has taken place!

Avvio Knights is our peer-to-peer reward and recognition scheme. It allows us to say thank you to our colleagues for their hard work – from the little things, to the big. From always offering a helping hand, to delivering large-scale campaigns. The scheme is run online, making it quick and easy to nominate. The nominations are then collated ahead of the award ceremony, and the most deserving in each category selected as the winner! This month, our Knights are:

Andy, who was crowned The Sun, for coming up with great ideas and solutions for one of our biggest and most demanding projects.

Chris, who won The Gauntlet, for continually bending over backwards to help his team meet tight deadlines.

Karl, who was awarded The Horse, for producing amazing creative work on a number of important pitches.

And Sam, who took home both The Hawk and The Accurist, for her continued focus on business development, and producing reliable and accurate timesheets!

Congratulations to you all!

In a recent Harvard Business Review study, 72% of respondents ranked recognition as having a significant impact on employee engagement – it’s undeniable, we want to be recognised for our hard work! It raises morale, boosts productivity, and is a great excuse to get together and talk about everyone’s achievements.

However big or small your business, no matter your budget, you can find ways to show your employees that you see and appreciate their efforts.

Awards don’t have to be monetary – Avvio’s ‘free hour’ tokens are one of the most sought after prizes, followed by the best parking space at the ranch! In fact, the gesture itself is often valued even more than the prize.

At Avvio Reply, we work with countless clients to help them develop innovative and fun ways to say thank you to their staff. So give us a shout and let’s see what we can come up with together!
