Creating an fun day at Sky HQ for employees and their families

Overview

Sky wanted us to help them deliver an on-brand ‘fun day’ experience for employees and their friends and family across the Sky estate. Their intention was to drive engagement and emotional connection with their brand whilst showcasing some of their key initiatives.

Approach

We delivered a fun day experience across 15 nationwide Sky sites. Sky employees were able to invite members of their family and friends along to their place of work to enjoy the day with them. We integrated Sky content, and linked the branding and activities to Sky’s key business priorities. Fun fair rides, games, and entertainers meant maximum, high energy engagement on the day as well as opportunity for sharing on socials.

Results

We toured the event across 15 Sky sites over the summer, working on every detail from site surveys, activity bookings, crowd management to onsite branding. We scaled the events up and down depending on the site size. Our total attendee numbers reached 14,887 with the largest single event at Sky HQ hosting 8,500 people.

We received feedback that people loved the event, walked away feeling proud to work for Sky, and even that some friends and family members wanted to work for Sky, having attended the event!
